Pottery Wheel Experience for Kids and Parents

About the event

This is a short, beginner-friendly pottery wheel session designed for kids and parents to experience clay together. The session begins with a simple introduction where the instructor explains how the pottery wheel works and demonstrates the basics.
Kids get to sit at the wheel, touch the clay, and try shaping it with guidance. It’s a playful, hands-on experience where getting messy is part of the fun. The instructor is present throughout to assist and guide.

What You’ll do

During the session, you’ll try making simple forms on the pottery wheel. The focus is on exploring the material, enjoying the process, and creating something with your own hands. Each attempt may turn out differently — that’s completely okay. The idea is to experience, not perfect.

Taking Your Piece Home

• This session is focused on experience rather than finished pieces.
• Firing and glazing are not included.
• If you’d like to keep your piece, additional charges for firing, glazing, and shipping will apply. Our team can guide you on this after the session.

Good to Know

• Please arrive 10–15 minutes early to settle in
• Wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little messy
• Children must be accompanied by a parent
• Sessions are small and relaxed, with limited seats
• No prior experience is required

Cancellation Policy

• A 50% refund is available if the booking is cancelled at least 48 hours before the workshop
• ONo refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 48 hours of the workshop

Breakage & Refund Policy

Ceramics are fragile, and rare breakage can occur during firing or shipping.     

• The workshop experience is non-refundable.
• If a piece breaks during firing or before shipping, we offer a refund of the glazing & firing cost (₹500 per piece).
• If a piece breaks during shipping, shipping charges are non-refundable, but the ₹500 glazing & firing cost will be refunded.
