We decided to analyse the data and tried to understand what kind of people join our pottery retreat. In our survey for the year 2023-24, we found pretty exciting data that we’d love to share with you.

In this article we list different professions from which people join this retreat. It will help you understand the group diversity, participants from India and the type of people you’d be spending your time with.

Out of 200+ people who joined the retreat, you’d be surprised to know that most of the participants were from Business and Entrepreneurship backgrounds. A total of 30 people joined us from this background and a further break up is offered below.

The field that excited us the most and stands fourth on the list is Law & Legal Services. We understand that Law is a demanding field (no disrespect to other professions) and lawyers attending our retreat is pretty exciting. A total of 12 lawyers attended our retreat and the further breakdown is as follows:

The data suggests this art / creative retreat program appeals to a wide range of professionals seeking relaxation and inspiration in nature. Whether one is looking forward to meeting the like minded people or just spending some creative time refuelling their energies, the pottery retreat by Dharamkot Studio is one of its kind experiences. The participants across India and other countries visit Dharamkot to be a part of an art retreat. Sometimes, all you need is a well structured day with lots of art, stunning mountain views and some space to think and be yourself.

Day 1 (Sunday) -

12:00 – 2:00 PM → Check-in at the retreat centre, settle into your cottages, lunch at the café, and rest

4:00 – 6:30 PM → Pottery session – Getting comfortable with clay & basics

7:30 PM → Dinner at the café and relaxation
Day 2 (Monday) –

8:30 – 9:30 AM → Light yoga & meditation

10:00 – 11:00 AM → Breakfast

11:30 AM – 2:00 PM → Pottery session – Hand-building (Pinching and coiling method)

2:00 – 4:00 PM → Lunch & rest

4:00 – 6:30 PM → Pottery session – Introduction to the Wheel

Evening → Explore nearby or enjoy dinner at the retreat centre
Day 3 (Tuesday) –

8:30 – 9:30 AM → Yoga & meditation

9:30 – 10:30 AM → Breakfast

11:30 AM – 2:00 PM → Pottery session – Texturing & Surface Decoration

2:00 – 3:30 PM → Lunch & rest

3:30 – 6:30 PM → Local exploration with a guide

Evening → Return to the retreat centre or continue exploring on your own
